This three-stone memorial is a tribute to Custer County soldiers who died in any of five American Wars - the Civil, World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. The Memorial is sponsored by County VFW Posts and by various donors whose names are inscribed on bricks at the base of the three-stone memorials. This tribute to our military history was unveiled and dedicated in Weatherford's Heritage Park by state and local dignitaries on July 4, 1993.
