| The Community Action Development Corporation(CADC)-Red River Transportation Bus serves the general public of Weatherford. The City of Weatherford provided matching funds in order for the program to acquire a new 1998 Ford bus, equipped with a wheel chair lift, through the Oklahoma Transportation Association. Transportation is provided for over 1500 persons each month. The bus is in operation from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The charge is $1.00 per ride. The Community Action Development Corporation pays the driver and the Weatherford Police Department provides dispatch service. Call 772-1400 to obtain bus service. |
